This project combines effective writing with Thanksgiving! Students will create their own Thanksgiving menus by writing descriptions that include precise words and sensory details. The writing process is also incorporated as students have a prewriting (brainstorming) page and an outline to prepare the rough draft of their menus. A rubric is attached which serves as a checklist for the students as well as being a clear grading tool for the teacher. This is an editable Word Document.
