Daily 5 Pacing Guide {Freebie}
I have used this pacing guide for the last few years. I have taken the components of the Daily 5 book and typed it up in a format easier for me to use from day to day. (note the page #'s correspond to the first edition of the book)
This is a 5 week launch as prescribed by the 2 sisters.
I have also included 2 versions of the checklists I use for checking students in once we get into the "swing" of things.

You can hand this to your students any time they are reading a fiction book, and it walks them through writing a good beginning, middle, and end. It can also be used as an outline for prewriting or even as an assessment when they finish reading something. They can draw pictures of the characters' faces, especially if they are younger students.

Guided Reading Levels Pre-Reader to D
Pre-reader level through a level 'D' reader (Fountas and Pinnell). Checklist provides goals for reader of each level. When learning to read levels are fluid and some components of reading carry over to the next level.
I use the checklist as a basic guide of what to work on with students at each level. I keep track of what goals they've completed and what we still need to work on.
*Not all skills maybe mastered before moving to the next level as some skills are carried over to the next level.

Letterland and Scott Foresman alignment guide
This is a guide I created over the course of a 10 month school year while teaching 1st grade Letterland along with Scott Foresman. There are 45 lessons/units to teach with Letterland with a few weeks less than that of school. I also wanted to integrate grammar, writing, comprehension skills and guided reading (Scott Foresman) as well as the phonetic skills (Letterland). I also created with this a year long grammar guide to correspond with each combined Letterland and Scott Foresman unit.
