Description

Often times I have a hard time teaching your students how to find the main idea and supporting details of something they have read. Many students struggle with the skill of finding the most important idea in a text and tend to get caught up in unrelated details!

This adaptable resource is an excellent way to help students organize their understanding of a text, as well as get more interested in what details make up the big picture!

Learners are provided space to write textual evidence as well as draw each key detail they have found.

This is a basic and effective organizer for beginners just starting to learn this skill as well as older students who can use this visual and creative organizer to practice pinpointing key ideas!
