This is an arts integrated lesson using Kandinsky's paintings to teach fact and opinion. It is designed to be projected on a screen for the class to see. The lesson begins with an explanation of fact and opinion with student practice identifying the two. Then the students learn some background about Kandinsky. Patriotic Color Wheel
This Color Wheel project can be altered for any grade level. I have chosen to use this project with my 5th graders. Each year our school has a patriotic picnic at the beginning of the school year and I use that time to showcase student artworks.
