History in Me is pleased to present, this series on Black History Art lessons. These lessons are designed to explore African American creativity in art. Nisga'a Hobiyee Spring Tradition
This is a collaborative art/social studies lesson for a small class (or group/individual). It teaches about the Nisga'a celebration of Hobiyee (new year/spring). There are 15 parts of the story (including the title page). Each student gets a piece of the story that they will use as inspiration for their art.
