I also put some story starters that go with our Step Up to Writing, "Get the Story Rolling" ideas (Provide a where, a when, an action verb, a character, a simple but interesting comment, and start with dialogue.) These were made with third graders in mind, but it could be used for grades 1-12, just change the writing lines! :)
