This zip file contains a simple rubric I created based upon the 3rd grade CCSS ELA standards for opinion writing. The rubric is a word document so it will be editable by you if you feel the need to make any changes.
The Promethean flip chart contains 18 writing samples for you to use whole class to grade using the rubric. The samples cross the spectrum from higher level to lower level writing (they are actual samples from my students exactly as my students wrote them).
