Civilization GRAPES Independent Study Project
This project can be used to examine any civilization using the organizer GRAPES (geography, religion, achievements, politics, economics, social structure.)
Students research each area and then have a choice of creative follow-up tasks for each one (lots of art, creative writing, etc. To culminate their work, students will create a slideshow presentation about each area of GRAPES.

This mini-book is a brief overview of Marco Polo and the Silk Road including his accomplishments and influence on other explorers. It is intended for elementary children to support social studies, reading comprehension, and critical thinking.
