Japanese Weather Telling Song and Activity FREEBIE
My third graders absolutely love this song and activity. They are entranced by the story about the young girl in Japan who gets new clogs and then ruins them by playing the Japanese Weather Telling Game.She tries to trick her mom, but in the end, she decides she will never try to trick her mom again. (The book is not included, but I give a link for where you can buy it). The book isn't absolutely necessary, but I highly recommend it for helping students to relate to the song.
