Every year, students on my caseload share their self-advocacy brochure with teachers and staff. It helps them with communicating information about their hearing loss and accommodations. The headings on the brochure can be edited so it is specific to your student, along with the information on each page. I included my student's brochure as an example. Kids of all ages love printing out a copy for each of their teachers, writing their name on it and handing it off in the beginning of the year.

This webquest on the Magic Treehouse book about an African adventure includes skills like compare and contrast, making predictions, and summarizing.
