Parent Letter ~ Classroom Snacks with Peanut Allergy
Peanut allergies are very common, and require special attention in the schools. If you have a student with a peanut allergy, this parent letter is perfect when asking for classroom snacks. Just print and go! Parents don't have time to search labels checking to see if items were manufactured in the same facility as peanuts/peanut oil. Worry Monsters
Many children have worries. To help children cope, adults can encourage young children to draw or print their worries and in turn externalize these challenging emotions. With the children and families that I work with, we like to draw our worries on "Worry Monsters." The worry monsters can then hold onto the worry so that the child does not have to.
