Teaching high school, I've come to see that most of my students have newer and nicer cell phones than I do. Is this a problem? No. The issue lay in their obsession and reliance on their phones - even when sitting next to who they want to be texting. Thus, this project was born. A tool asking students to track and monitor just how much of their time they spend on their phones.

This resource does require a computer or laptop but works on visual perceptual skills and memory just as any simple card memory game would. Students are asked to scan a grid and remember the location of as many pairs of football-themed items as they can, they give coordinates to the correct spots once the slide has switched. If they don't get it correct, there is no touchdown and they must do drill practice exercises! Super fun to play around Super Bowl season!
