A Fun Wordsearch on Junk Food and an associated extension activity
A wordsearch activity on Junk Food Terminology. Students select the words identified. The extension is for students to be given time to research the words and include at least 10 in a written piece on their findings. Students should link to the down-side of junk food and how to eat well and ensure a healthy diet. Students then report their findings back to the class and the teacher provides supportive feedback.

If you have jobs in your classroom, this is a great way to help students develop pride and ownership. Students get excited to fill out the application and I explain how this is similar to applying for a job when they are older. These are the jobs I have, but feel free to edit them to your needs.
