Focus Tools: Strategy to help ADHD students to behave, focus, and pay attention
This product lists 20 fidget objects (which I call "focus tools") that can be made at a home or purchased with very little cost. It also includes tips from my experience with using focus tools. These focus tools are objects for students that struggle to pay attention. They hold the focus tool and fidget with it. Keeping their hands busy helps their minds to focus.

This very simple to use and EDITABLE template can be used throughout a school day for those students who may need to be kept on task. I simply use this sheet with my students throughout the day and the periods in the day. They have to set a goal for how many signatures they receive throughout the day, and I usually let them pick their reward as well. It is simple to use and keeps the students focused!

Editable Student Question Checklist
Have you ever had a student who refuses to attempt the work on their own. This is a student who is constantly asking you (the teacher or parent) to intervene and help them on problems or questions on which they are capable. Have the students try this question checklist first to examine the problem or question before asking the teacher to intervene. Behavior Calendar for Student Folder
I have my students color each smiley-face green, yellow, or red depending on their behavior for that day. I use a big magnetic stoplight in my classroom and each student has a magnet with their name on it. Every time I re-direct a student, they must move their car. At the end of the day, they fill out their behavior chart and take it home to show their parents.
