TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Special Education has been my passion for the last 10 years. I have worked in various settings from elementary school to middle school ages. My current assignment is in a cross categorical 3-5 classroom. I enjoy working with the WHOLE student. Beyond my classroom instruction I work on my school's SIP team, technology team and grant team.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom encompasses my students' learning styles. I provide various ways to learn objectives. I enjoy working with my students in small groups and use a Guided Reading Center Model. I expect my students to take ownership of their learning and use my classroom instruction to engage them in the 21st century learning environment.
