This is a jpeg image of a set of piano keys (two octaves and a third) that can be used for a variety of things. This is the image I used in my piano intro Powerpoint with my 4th and 5th grade students last year. I put the letter names on the keys, I also used arrows to demonstrate intervals between keys and to indicate scales.

Students identify the quarter note, eighth note, half note and rest. Each student then creates 3 rhythms. Teacher or another student chooses one to clap out or "titi ta" and students try to guess which of the 3 beats was used. Best used with a document camera to show all 3 beats.
