This is the front side to a two sided worksheet. This front page is to accompany a lesson about the history and transformation of music technology over the years. Blank Piano Keys
This is a jpeg image of a set of piano keys (two octaves and a third) that can be used for a variety of things. This is the image I used in my piano intro Powerpoint with my 4th and 5th grade students last year. I put the letter names on the keys, I also used arrows to demonstrate intervals between keys and to indicate scales.

Rhythm Pizzas is the perfect activity to practice writing and counting rhythms! Instruct students how many beats each pizza should have and then allow them to create rhythms using any of the note values listed. I like to challenge students to get creative with the rhythms they create! Once each pizza is complete, students can perform their rhythms by clapping or on any percussion instrument. Rhythm worksheet and game
Students identify the quarter note, eighth note, half note and rest. Each student then creates 3 rhythms. Teacher or another student chooses one to clap out or "titi ta" and students try to guess which of the 3 beats was used. Best used with a document camera to show all 3 beats.
