Argumentative Essay Example: Organic Foods: Worth the Hype?
Need an essay for an example of argumentative writing? This is the one for you! I wrote this about organic foods and whether or not they are worth the extra price tag that goes along with them. I made sure that the different parts of an essay and paragraph are very much easy to find and identify.(Introduction, topic sentence, transitions, details, conclusion, etc.) At the end of the piece, students have to color-code the parts of the essay and respond with their own reaction based off the text.

This readers theater explains the history of immigration to the United States. I have used it as a whole class language arts/history activity by numbering each line. My students all have numbers so it is easy for them to see what part they have to say. Each line is short as to keep the reading moving.
