Opinion Writing on Natural Disasters
The students have to read three different articles on Natural Disasters: Hurricane Katrina, Oklahoma Tornado in 1947, and Eruption of Mount St. Helens. After reading all three articles, they have to write an opinion essay in which they use evidence from all three articles to determine which one was the most horrific disaster.
