Classroom Library Book Return Reminders FREEBIE
Need a handy-dandy way to remind students to bring back books they have checked out from your classroom library? Just print out these little slips and fill in the blanks. I print the slips, fill them out as needed, and then tape them inside the student's agenda or put them in their take-home folders.
Slips read: "Dear [student's name], Don't forget to bring your classroom library book back to school! Book: [title of book]. [teacher's name and/or date]."

AR Reading Log
I staple this inside of a manilla file folder and each student has their own folder. (I let them decorate it however they want.) I use a colored marker or crayon to fill in the top info, coordinated to their book level color. When it fills up, I just staple a new sheet on top. Easy to keep a running record of their AR tests.

Here is a template for LIBRARY PASSES. As an elementary librarian, I find it helpful to have kids come to library with a pass...that way I know their teacher knows where they are! These passes allow you to write the classroom number instead of a teacher name. It seemed that we had teachers leaving or getting married each year! I print 2 to 3 per class. That way I never have too many kids at once in the library.
