This outline helps students focus on a thesis, evidence, and elaboration by taking them through the step-by-step process of constructing an argumentative essay. McCarthyism/Cold War DBQ
This activity includes the use of 7 primary source texts (speech excerpts, photographs, and comic strip) to engage students and encourage them to interact with text and cite specific evidence. Each document comes with at least 3 questions. The questions build upon each other to help students see both sides of the issue with McCarthyism during America's Cold War Era.
