Perfect for an introduction to FSA Writing as 5th graders! I used this to teach the basics of FSA Writing and provide an essay outline to give visual learners that extra structure :) The students and I both found the story very relatable, which makes the lesson that much more exciting. I also make sure to use wording similar to what students will see in the FSA to get them used to what the test asks of them :)
