Holocaust Unit: A Found Poem
This language arts project completed as a part of an anticipatory set for the novel unit Night involves a mini-research lesson and a poem composition on the Holocaust. Students will use words and phrases they find from a given website [ushmm.org] to compose a personal found poem about the Holocaust then students will compose a group- found poem. This group-found poem will be written by all group members, and the poem will contain words and phrases compiled from the individual students' poems.
