Jazz Musicians - Biographies and Worksheets
This bundle includes short biographies for eleven jazz musicians, and two versions of an activity worksheet "Meet the Jazz Musician." One version of the worksheet is more appropriate for grades 2-3, and the other is more appropriate for grades 4-6.
The biographies are written to be easily accessible for 2nd-3rd graders, but will likely be a helpful resource for students in older grades who need additional support with reading.

Nisga'a Hobiyee Spring Tradition
This is a collaborative art/social studies lesson for a small class (or group/individual). It teaches about the Nisga'a celebration of Hobiyee (new year/spring). There are 15 parts of the story (including the title page). Each student gets a piece of the story that they will use as inspiration for their art.
