If your students are fans of the Adele's "Hello", try this "fill-in-the-blanks" activity for the cover by Sara'h.

Winter Song Activity
This activity allows students to improve their listening comprehension skills while listening to enjoyable winter-time songs. Simply make a photocopy of your preferred shapes for the word clouds of words contained in the songs "Vive le vent" and "Au Royaume du Bonhomme hiver" and ask students to underline or highlight the words they hear from the songs. There are a few words that are not in the songs in each word cloud to allow for better sound discrimination results.

C'est aujourd'hui le vendredi French song
This is a song that my students love to sing on Fridays. It's to the tune of McNamara's Band and has a really peppy tempo. The first thing my students say to me when they walk into class on Friday is "On va chanter la chanson de vendredi?" Your students will love it!
If you don't know the tune, you can go to Grooveshark and search for MacNamara's (use this spelling) band instrumental to hear a great version of the song.
