Assembled here are eight individual resources used with 8th graders to conduct a mock trial based on Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart”. For my classes, this was a major-fun!- culminating project in the 2nd trimester. I designed this activity for my Spanish 2 classes. It is a survey-style speaking activity, where each student has a question to ask 5 classmates and record their answers. His classmates must answer using a DOP to replace the direct object.
The questions use present tense simple and compound verbs, present progressive, and ir+a+infinitive.
