Spanish-speaking country ornament project editable
Have your students research a Spanish speaking country and make an ornament about it! I put the list of countries on the board and let them use their creativity to make any kind of ornament they can think of. We hang them on a paper tree on the wall out in our hallway. DSO Kids: Instrument Research Project
This activity is ideal for classrooms without access to many instruments, but available technology for each student. In this project, students are exploring a virtual symphony where they are able to select instruments, listen to them play solo, and with an orchestra, learn about the instrument's family, visual appearance, how the instrument is played, and more. Then, I had them use the same country they had already researched before. This time they were researching the country's Christmas/holiday traditions.
