Dealing with behavior management in specials can sometimes be tricky. Here is a simple downloadable document with not 1, but 2 possible quick communications concerning behavior to use! Music Class - Lesson Plan Template
I have found this template to be very helpful when planning my music lessons.
This template is Kodaly based, but it can be edited to be used however you wish. It works very well when paired with the "Yearly Plans" book that goes with the "American Methodology" book by Ann Eisen and Lamar Robertson.
I have tried 3 or 4 different lesson plan formats during my time teaching, and this one is my favorite so far. Hope you can find it useful!
