Life Science End of Year/Final Exam Review
Answer key included. This is a "Life Science" end of year activity meant to help students review content from the second semester. Biography Writing - 3 Parts Practicing Point of View
Students choose an eminent person to research and write a 3-part biography about. The biography includes a PROLOGUE, which is written in 3rd person about the person's life and accomplishments. In the MONOLOGUE, students pretend to be their eminent person and write in first person about a major accomplishment. In the EPILOGUE, students sum up the accomplishments of the eminent person and have a conversation/interview with that person.

This project is a really fun way to build community in the classroom as well as to boost morale for students! I have done this project with students ranging from PreK to Graduate school. I even included a "favorite song" so that we can build classroom music playlists.
My students had so much fun getting to know the history behind their names (by interviewing their elders) and then sharing them with their classmates!
