Easy Animal Report to go with Common Core (CCSS) nonfiction writing
This is an easy to use format for kids to write their own animal report. This begins with a pre-write or word web, then asks kids to answer basic questions about the animal. Next kids can illustrate their animal and write an overall summary about the animal on easy to use paper. Finally, kids start to learn about a bibliography by writing the name of the book they got the information from and the author of that book. I use this for my Kindergarten special education students with great succes
