Breaking News: A Current Events Group Presentation Project
I use this project as a culminating activity in my seventh grade geography classes. I assign them small groups to work in (3-4 people).
Groups will choose a current events topic from a list of events that have happened throughout the last school year. Working together, they will research their topic using reliable sources, and become experts! They will then present their findings in a final presentation to their classmates.
