These are cooperative learning strategies created by Kagan. I simply made a reference card to introduce to the students and post on your wall for future reference. The have a title of the strategy, a picture and description of the strategy at the bottom. You can print them as a full page of smaller to use as flash cards.

Loyalists & Patriots Brochures
This product includes a publisher file with two pamphlets. One is a pamphlet convincing its reader to become a patriot during revolutionary times. The other is convincing its reader to become a loyalist. These could be used as examples for students to view to create their own, for students to create speeches with, to use as a visual in a lesson, or anything else that you can dream up! The First Red Scare "Dot" Game
Randomly hand out the cards* after you have printed out in color and cut out (I printed them out on cardstock paper to make them not so see-through). Remind students to not show anyone their card or better, put the cards in their pockets. Then they must go around and try to figure out which of their classmates are "communists" or red dot cardholders. The goal of the game is for the red dot "communists" to sneak into a group of black dots. To add tension and heighten suspicions I would go around

Unplugged Coding Activity
Ever wondered how to teach coding without a computer? It happened to me, so I created my own codes from scratch. You can break your students into teams and give them a set of codes to program the teacher or a group member through a maze. I used masking tape and created a maze throughout the lab.
