Cooperative Learning Strategy cards

These are cooperative learning strategies created by Kagan. I simply made a reference card to introduce to the students and post on your wall for future reference. The have a title of the strategy, a picture and description of the strategy at the bottom. You can print them as a full page of smaller to use as flash cards.

Theme is ALWAYS so difficult for my 4th-graders to understand. Yet, it is SO IMPORTANT for them to have a firm grasp of theme and thematic concepts as they work to comprehend fictional texts. With this graphic organizer students must close read the soliloquy to identify words with strong connotations, determine the mood that is created by these words, and explain what these words teach us about Lady Macbeth.
