In this interactive SMART Board lesson, students will learn how to plot points in all four quadrants. Students will also investigate the characteristics of points in various locations of the coordinate place (in each quadrant and on each axis). Writing Linear Equations (horizontal and vertical lines) for the Smartboard
This is a 16 page Smartboard lesson reviewing linear equations. All of the equations involve either a horizontal or vertical line. The student looks at the graph of horizontal and vertical lines and then write their equation below the provide graph. Once they have an answer they touch on the key to unlock the padlock and reveal the correct answer. My students argue over who gets to do the next page!

Graphing Linear Equations Koosh Ball Game
Graphing Linear Equations Koosh Ball Game is to be use with a Smartboard and a koosh ball (other soft balls might work, but for the Smartboard to register that a star was clicked, a koosh ball works best!)
Directions:
Have the students throw a koosh ball at the Smartboard. The star that is hit will link to a slide where the student must answer a question. Questions include the following:

This is a smartboard lesson on transformations. There's an integer warm-up to start. Then there is a slide with the definition and describing how to read "prime" points. Graphing Lines from an Equation
In this smartboard lesson, students will review how to graph lines from an equation in y=mx+b, or slope-intercept form. First students will review how to graph a line using a table by substituting in values. Then, they will practice graphing a line by first identifying the y-intercept and then using the slope to graph several more points. A real-life application problem is also included, as well as examples where either the y-intercept or slope is zero.

Measuring and Graphing Review Game
This interactive game was designed to help students practice and review metric units, read data tables and graphs, and analyze graphs. It is similar to tic, tac, toe with a larger board to include more questions and a longer review. Students select a square where they hope to place their marker. MvM Battle Star XY Coordinate or Slope Game
MvM Battle Star is a SMART Notebook Game.
Divide the class into 6 teams or less.
Give every team a MvM Battle Star Plan Sheet.
Have every team choose 4 coordinates to hide/place their ships secretly.
