I used this rubric for my students when they created non-fiction books about the Native American Tribes. Students folded 3-4 sheets of white paper in half, bound it with staples, and then filled it in with the required content. This project incorporated our social studies content while reinforcing writing skills and identifying, using, and creating text features. This product can be modified to accommodate any non-fiction subject area. A great tool for integrating multiple content areas into one
