TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 8 years. I began my teaching career in Kindergarten. After three years I moved up to First grade and I taught First grade for three years. I was luck to loop with my class to Second grade. I taught second grade for two years and then made a big jump back to Kindergarten! So you can so I have been teaching K-2 for the past 8 years and LOVE IT!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I focus teaching as a purpose to strengthen each students life. I integrate all areas but the main focus is to reach the students needs that drive their curiosity, enhance their excitement to learn, and give them strategies to use in everyday life.

Teaching is more then just the curriculum. Some of the most rewarding experiences in my career have been tied into extra curricular actives. These actives have included being a leader in Girls on the Run, Stride, Sole Sister, and Intensity. Over the years I have learned that teaching is more than just a relationship in the classroom. Interacting with the students on a personal level helps create bonds that will last a life time.
