January Calendar & Morning Meeting Routines for Smartboard
My morning meeting continues to be an integral part of the day. We spend time on ELA and math skills during this time. The children really enjoy the interactive slides. I have some great new winter themes this month.

Thankgiving Notebook Lesson for the Smart Board
The Thanksgiving Notebook Lesson covers everything about Thanksgiving! Picasso Cubism Overview

First, we read the article https://www.ancient.eu/Lascaux_Cave/ to learn all about it.
Then, look at pictures, examples, and descriptions on the SMART presentation.
Lastly, the students create their own art (laying on the floor under their desks in a dark room).
The students LOVE this activity. There's no better way to learn than to experience it!!
