Over 20 years in Art Education. 10 Years in Technology Education. Bachelor's in Art Education, Master's Degree in Special Education, and CAS in Educational Leadership (Administration) Currently an elementary art teacher and professional artist.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I create my own materials and curriculum, compliant to state and national standards. Lessons utilize common core essential standards, can be accurately assessed, and teach 21st century skills. I use the Teaching for Artistic Behavior (TAB) methods and run my classroom as a choice-based studio. I rely on the student to create their OWN work as I help guide them through the process. Art is as much about the process as it is the final product.
