The Tao of Pooh
This activity is a great follow up to learning about Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. Students are prompted to explain the 3 philosophies of each religion, then they are given background on The Vinegar Tasters, and the Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff. At the conclusion, students need to read quotes from Winnie the Pooh and assess how they are examples of Taoism based on what they just learned.
This activity works best in pairs or small groups.
