This STAINED GLASS THEMATIC UNIT is a product-based lesson designed for gifted/talented students in grades 4 - 8. It may also be used in art curriculums. It incorporates group work, research, and many high order thinking skills in a four-step plan which culminates with the creating of an original stained glass picture. Gwennie used this unit for over 15 years with her 6th grade gifted students. It was one of their all-time favorite units! This would be an excellent unit for homeschooling.
