This is a single page worksheet that asks students for basic vocal information including their name, age, grade, preferred pronouns, years of choral experience, and voice type (bass, baritone, tenor, alto, soprano, or unsure). Then it asks some get-to-know-you questions, and ends by having students write a letter on the back of the worksheet introducing themselves to you or writing about their musical goals for the year.Download, print, and collect for data!

Viola repertoire and etude lists
As my college senior paper/project at Luther College, I compiled a syllabus of graded viola repertoire and technique/etude books. The paper itself details why I delineated the levels where I did, along with some specific examples. The lists are at the end of the document. I recently had a few people ask me for it, so I thought perhaps publishing it in some format would be useful! The music ranges from the very beginning up to advanced high school and college level repertoire.
