This bundle is just a guide to help you begin your own program. I have listed my contact time with my students. I have spent years trying different concepts at various grades, but these are where I find my students best understand the material with the way I present it, how we practice it, and their level of understanding and maturity. I had used the former National Music Standards, my state Grade Span Expectations, the Core Music Standards, and Kodály and Gordon learning sequences as my guide. I believe in a balanced curriculum allowing students to hear, name, and use the elements of music in a variety of ways. It is a flexible curriculum depending upon the students' abilities and allowing for changes that have impacted my Scope & Sequence for that year.
