My students completed a wax museum project in which they read a biography about a historical person of their choice. Then, they created several pieces such as a stamp, a portrait, gathering artifacts having to do with the person, and designing a costume to wear. Article of the Week (AOW) Rubric
I use Newsela for my AOWs since I can easily modify the levels of text. If you search "Quizzed Articles Only", those articles will have quizzes, also at the same varied lexile level as the text, always with four questions.
