MHF4U Advanced Functions 12 Term Presentation
Math presentation is usually hard to do and the reasons are as following. Firstly, Math is hard to talk about. People who know Math generally just think it's a natural ability. Secondly, Math usually has one and only one answer. The later presenters can have such a big advantage. To conquer those, I have made two open book assignments this term. Roller Coaster Design - Transformations of Functions
I created this project for my IB Approaches and Analysis Course. This is also useful for Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus courses. All three courses heavily use transformations of functions and can apply the parent functions to this course. This 13 page document with calendar and table of contents took me at least 12 days to complete from beginning to end, but it was worth it for the students to engage in meaningful conversations.
