Writing Conference Running Records
While working with a small group of struggling writers working on expository writing. I wanted something where I could quickly check off what I saw the student doing correctly. Then I want to have a spot to jot down one or two goals for them in each of the revising and editing categories. The last column was for a fun idea for the student to try in order to captivate their reader. Miniature Informational Writer's Checklist for Student Use
These are writer's checklists for the students to use at their seat when they are finished with a writing. It aligns with the Georgia Standards of Excellence. It matches the writer's checklist students will see on the Georgia Milestone (GMAS) Assessment.

Writing to Inform Grade Two
This rubric is designed to help students write an informational paragraph and to be a handy assessment and grading tool for the teacher. Rubrics allow teachers to award points instead of penalizing student work, which has many positive benefits in the classroom.

Simple Informative Paragraph Rubric Grade One
It’s quite difficult to teaching first graders to write. This rubric is designed to help first graders write an informative/expository paragraph. Writing to Inform Grade 3
This rubric is designed to let 3rd graders know exactly what’s expected of them when writing an informational or explanatory piece. It is based on GA language arts standards, which are very similar to Common Core Standards. It is also designed to be a handy way to assess and grade the work.

RACE rubric - self score and teacher score
