Word Problem rubrics and template for K-2
I have created a rubric for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade word "application" problems within the Eureka math curriculum. I have also created a template for students to use the Read, Draw, Write, protocol when solving these problems. This is an activity I used to reinforce fraction operations in my 6th grade math class. The students created a class recipe book by each bringing in three of their favorite recipes. They had to include a list of ingredients, as well as instructions for doubling, tripling, or halving the recipe.
