Teaching art to students can be challenging. Keeping students engaged and excited about learning is crucial for success in the classroom. This is why I have created the K-2nd Journal. The art journal has thirty-six short lessons. Students enjoy the short assignments that challenge their imaginations and show the history of their progress. The journal covers the fundamentals of art, art history, and more. When using the journal limited materials are required. This makes the journal easy to use.

Art "I can..." statements, Student/Teacher Tracking
These "I can" statements are created from the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. They are written in kid friendly language and are for grades k-2 in the visual arts. You can post them on your bulletin board or keep them in a binder and check them off as you cover the material. You can do this and give each child one to keep in the their portfolio/sketchbook and as a class you could check them off together.

This is the Teacher Life and Lesson Planner. I don't know about you, but planning my daily "life" activities and planning my weekly teaching plans has been difficult for me. Mainly because it was requiring me to use two different planners. Now I have taken both planner styles and combined them into one!
