Spanish beginners' final exam is administered during last class (for speaking and listening portions) and subsequent testing day (for reading and writing portions). During 40-minute class, students remain seated and silently studying as teacher asks 3-5 oral questions each (out of 25 total), then administers listening portion. Subsequent day's formal 2-hour testing consists of multiple choice Scantron and free response answer sheet with bonus opportunity; most students finish at 1.5-hour mark.
