Teaching Minor Keys Through Recorder: Halloween Song
This product is an ActivInspire flipchart that is a complete lesson, to be used to teach a song in a minor key. This song is easily played on recorder by beginning to intermediate students. Included in the flipchart: a fingering chart, song with notation, and a space to compose original lyrics to this song. Use this lesson to also teach composition, by allowing your students to create original Halloween or "spooky" lyrics to this song.

Build a Measure Flipchart
For use with Promethean or Smart boards, this is a quick chart to help students learn how to build a 4 beat measure. Also helps them easily understand that each beat needs to be filled with something. At the bottom, there are various notes that can be dragged and dropped onto the 4 beat pattern area, and can be used for virtually anything in the music classroom.
