Animal habitats and foods that animals eat

This is another lesson I use as a whole group introduction to animals. This one discusses what a habitat is, students select the animals that would live in the appropriate habitat (it tells students if they are right or wrong), and then it discusses what animals eat (they get to click on the animal and then it reveals what food they like to eat. This chart also includes a song about animal habitats.

Recently, my students were going to complete a fun STEM activity in which they would build their own skyscraper that had to support a certain amount of weight. I created an introduction skyscraper flipchart to build schema and give some history to my students. Towards the end, the students are given some famous skyscrapers that they can guess the names . This lesson is for Activ software-- I have a Promethean Board in my room.
