Feature Article Writing Unit
Feature article writing is a nonfiction writing about a topic that the kids are an "expert" on. It will be similar to a newspaper or magazine article. This will require no research of the students, but will come from their prior knowledge. Students LOVE this writing because they are usually passionate about the topic that they choose.
